While the ambiance is a little dated here, it's still one of my favorite breakfast and lunch spots. Food is great and pretty decently priced, and the patio is a lovely on a sunny day. Service is helpful and friendly. I don't think the decor has changed once since I was a kid though. Lots of bunnies and silly little things around on the walls. But still! A local favorite.

We came to Toasties because we're people who just wanted an affordable brunch in a cozy place with decent prices--we found what we were looking for! Service was good. Food, though not mind blowing, came in generous portions and was satisfying.

I was happily surprised at how much I really like this place! The prices are very reasonable - less than most breakfast/brunch places around here. The wait wasn't bad at all. Even though it was super crowded. The eggs Benedict was really good and the potatoes are awesome! It has a cute seating plates outside. The service is super friendly and attentive. We are definitely adding this to our list to come back again too!

Hubby and I ordered the banana pecan pancake and Italian sausage omelette so we can enjoy the both and we loved them both! The kids loved their food as well- French toast specials and strawberry pancakes. It's a good sized cottage turned into a restaurant. The place is older but it's clean and run by pleasant and helpful staff.

Toasties is in DT Pacific Grove. We stopped by after playing golf at Spyglass in nearby Pebble Beach. They offer bfast & lunch in a casual setting. I had the Mediterranean salad w/ chicken (up charge). Three friends ordered sandwiches and one ordered bfast. The salad tasted very good, and the amount of chicken was good vs the up charge (I believe its $2). In addition, the produce was fresh. Nonetheless, the portion of salad vs the price was high IMHO. Our waitress was super nice and hardworking. She handled our table of 5 w/ no problem. All in all, a very positive experience. I look forward to trying something heavier next time like country fried steak.

We decided to go here because it opens early, 6:30 AM. It is a small, old school place with lots of menu options. The omelets were solid (the right amount of cheese and toppings)and the potatoes were excellent- well seasoned. Best of all it was not super greasy. The waitress was good and the prices were reasonable.

Great unpretentious breakfast place. It's got everything you'd want, and in a setting that's very much like grandma's house. One companion had the ollalaberry pancakes with a scrambled egg on the side while the other companion and I had the baby pancake special - 6 small pancakes with two sausages (or bacon) and one egg any style. Very satisfying! The food also came out quickly, no big delays. Be warned, the coffee is strong. I lost track of the warm-ups and by the end of breakfast I was so caffeinated I could hear colors. Service was great! Our awesome server Tino is my new best friend. Sorry no pictures - we were too busy eating! Side note: On-street parking is 1.5, 2, or 3 hours depending upon location.

I've seen toasties driving through downtown a million times, but today I gave it a try! It was super cute inside and out. My server was kind and made friendly conversation like I was a regular. I got the pancakes and they were quite delicious, as far as pancakes with butter and syrup go.

We found this place on a whim in downtown Pacific Grove and decided to try it out. We were not disappointed. The restaurant was quant and cute. There was a lot more seats and room than it looked like from the outside. We were seated fairly quickly, only had to wait about 5 min. The servicer was quick with getting to us and our food was out in no time. My California Scramble was really good, not too heavy and just the right amount of fillings (tomato, avocado, cheese, bacon). The side of bacon was cooked perfectly for me, nice and crispy! Our daughter loved the Strawberry Waffle. Our food tasted good and exactly what we needed to start our day!
